We aim to support parents in understanding how their babies communicate. Research shows that supporting parents in the antenatal and postnatal period can prevent difficult relationships forming, and possibly prevent symptoms of postnatal depression developing.

Parents around the UK report that they learn a great deal about their baby after an NBAS or an NBO session.  Parents say they feel considerably closer to their baby, more confident in their parenting capacity and how to effectively respond to their infant, how to help their infant with sleep and crying, and felt they knew their baby significantly more. Parents viewed the NBO as an important learning experience that would contribute to their role as a parent.

If you would like your baby to have an NBAS or NBO, please contact your Midwife or Health Visitor. Alternatively,  contact the Brazelton Centre UK who can put you in touch with a trained practitioner in your area.
