The course is designed for those who have completed the two-day NBAS training and would like the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills in using the NBAS. You may have certified but are now in a new job and need a refresh. You may not yet have certified and would like to revisit the NBAS elements to help you with certification. Or you may have certified some time ago and would like to have an update.
This is a one day course taught online via Zoom. The course consists of discussions, demonstrations, powerpoint presentations and video clips.

Please note: all attendees will need to have their NBAS kit and manual with them when attending the course (this will have been provided at the original NBAS course you attended).
Learning Outcomes
- Review how to administer and score the 53 items of the NBAS
- To be become a good observer of newborn behaviour
- Identify observations from the four dimensions of the developmental agenda to give feedback to families and care givers in a strength-based model.
